From London to Texas, China to San Francisco, internationally acclaimed spectacle theatre company Macnas bring stunning large-scale images and a good dose of chaos to the masses. My six week residency in the company's home town of Galway saw me working alongside a highly skilled team of inventors and imagineers to create the giant kinaesthetic images and incredible masks for the 2015 Macnas Annual Parade. From the shadows of an old pram factory by the river, an ancient goddess emerged surrounded by a fantastical kingdom of animals. Get a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes in the video below.
